TAMU Reads and Counts Tutors
We have currently paused hiring for the Spring 2026 semester. If we have more positions open, the application will be reopened January 1st.
- Tutors work with students in a school/ classroom or an after school program in Bryan/College Station.
- Tutor wages begin at $16.00/hour. Bilingual (English/Spanish) tutor wages begin at $17.00/hour.
- Opportunities for advancement to leadership positions and increase in wage are available.
- Paid training is required.
- Reads and Counts Applicants must be enrolled at Texas A&M University and be Work Study eligible.
- Applicants must have their own transportation. This is an OFF CAMPUS job.
A Reads & Counts tutor is a member of the Reads & Counts community who dedicates time to making a lifelong impression by acting as a mentor and serving others, while simultaneously experiencing personal and professional development.
